Meet your Therapist

I have been a family therapist and mental health professional for over 30 years, working across the United Kingdom and Africa, in the NHS, Local Authority, Voluntary and Religious settings.

I provide safe, confidential, empathic, and non-judgmental support to help people with various challenges, which hinder them from achieving results in their family, relationships, wellbeing, and personal development. Through talking and positive engagement, I help individuals, couples and families reconnect with lost skills, develop broken relationships and new perspectives that help them improve their wellbeing and potential to achieve their life goals.

If you are distressed or unhappy, suffering from anxiety, a broken marriage or relationship, or just longing for a space to be heard, you need not struggle or suffer in silence; I will love to help you!

I am an experienced and compassionate therapist, providing psychological support, and working with a wide range of clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Through a trusting relationship, I can help you navigate life challenges, uncover your unique story, and achieve yours and your family’s goals.

My commitment to you

I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, healthier choices moving forward.

I provide a free non-committal initial telephone conversation of 10-15 minutes to establish your need and for you to ask any question to help you decide how we move forward.

When we decide to go ahead we would work together on short term or longer-term basis depending on your needs. Your session would last for up to an hour, weekly or fortnightly.

Confidentiality

As a systemic therapist, I am bound by the confidentiality of my profession in regards to clients. I will breach your confidence if you say something that implies danger to yourself or others. I will be transparent and inform you when this has to be done.

Availability

I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of my clients. I am available for sessions on weekdays and in the evenings. We can discuss your requirements when we arrange your first appointment.

Cancellation Policy

I will attempt to reschedule a cancelled appointment if you are unable to attend your booked appointment. I operate a 48-hour cancellation policy, or the full fee will be incurred, as I have allocated this time to you.
